Long Island Safer Bars Initiative

Long Island Safer Bars is a collaborative effort between The Retreat, The Safe Center LI, and LI Against Domestic Violence to help give alcohol-serving establishments the training and tools they need to make it safe for all patrons. Nicole talks with Justin about what the initiative is about, and how she's working to help alcohol-serving establishments recognize behavioral red flags, identify instances of sexual abuse and violence, intervene and diffuse problematic situations and ultimately to shift create a safe and welcoming space.
